When I was in the eighth grade, we were learning...
To culminate our lessons about Nazi Germany, a Holocaust survivor came in to talk to our entire class. She told us her heartbreaking story about enduring the horrors of the concentration camps. When she finally escaped, she said all she wanted to do was hug her parents. But she found out later that they both died from starvation. Her voice broke when she told us. Everyone in the room was in tears....
